Title: Vintage Marko Manufacturers "Oriental" Silk? Material Picture in Frame
Post by: valhom on October 09, 2015, 09:50:20 AM
I believe it's some type of material, possibly silk? I can't seem to find much of this company. Anybody ever ran across one of these that was similar, perhaps? I'm looking for possible worth or your best guess/estimate of a starting bid if you were to put it on eBay. :)

Frame measures approx. 17.5" x 14".

Thank you! :D

Looks like mid-20th century living room art. I would think that if you could get $100 for it you'd be having a good day!

Would say the same.

'Made for'  is not the same as  'made by'.

Would be better if it was the other way around.

Other factor is the mass production of this type of works..

Exclusive designed and styled is a tricky way to say 'we designed and we styled it and we made loads of it'

I would subscribe something like this 'Couple Crane Birds Blossom Flowers Fine Silk In Chinese Style'
