Title: JZ&Co
Post by: Cheshire Cat on November 23, 2015, 10:09:38 AM
I would welcome opinions on my two cups and saucers I have inherited.   I believe JZ&Co are a German pottery company but unsure of the age of these items and would love a value please. (British pound please).

here is a neat little fact about the JZ and company marking on the bottom of your cups and dishes http://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/germany/bavaria/selb-01/index.php

Thank you for your reply.  :)    I inherited them from my late mother so no idea how much she paid for them.  I don't remember them from my childhood so I guess they were given to her.   Would £30.00 be for each item or the set?

I have seen the link you gave me.  The mark is identical to image 1-03 apart from they haven't got the circle around the letters.  That must have some bearing on the age I should think?

Beautiful cups!  Sentimentally they are priceless!

However, as an individual selling them I agree U.S. $30.00 for both!
