Another stumper,, has anyone ever seen a high chair like this ?? Looks like a manufactured piece but I have not tracked down another like it or even similar !! Its located in Missouri now but something tells me it was made in the UK before the Salk Vaccine was in use !!

This reminds me of these cage-like children's chairs that come from China. Yours looks like it is a western version of the same idea:

More pics were posted showing the foot warmer at bottom !!  A small metal container for coals? and a wooden top over that with holes in it for heat to come through !!

They don't look exactly the same, but reminds me of the Victorian potty training chairs!  They looked more like high chairs or chairs with trays for eating, etc.  This would definitely be for a cold region.

Really not sure about this . It appears to be modified and obviously a design that either didn't catch on or was unique to this piece. I doubt it's British but the fabric may also be more recent.

The wood appears to be mahogany but not that which is natural to Northern Europe - that opinion is based simply on the photos so I may be wrong.

Interesting but ultimately not worth a great deal
