I recived a portable Viaticum cabinet alter.The book in side said it was maunfacturedby The American Mfg Co in New Haven Conn.Any infirmation on this item and or possible value?

These may have been used by clergy to bring communion/sacraments to the homes of the sick/dying.  Try google searches for --  vintage clergy items -- or -- vintage Catholic sacramental items  -- or a similar type search - KB
