Title: Stomps-Burkhardt Chair

I have a chair with a label under the seat.....Mfr by The Stomps-Burkhardt Co.....Dayton, Ohio.  I bought it at auction approx 30-35 years ago.

It has a back with an elaborate carved lion head (I think.....or maybe something similar) and a seat that is curved. It is heavy duty but a comfortable chair. It may be oak or mahogony.

I would like to know if there is a catalog available from this mfr and if anyone has an idea of age and value.....or point me in the right direction to learn more about it.

that company.worked from 1890.to about 1930. the value is $350.00 dollars.catalogs do appear, but some what rare. starting at $75.00 dollars. when they can be found.
