Title: question about possible antique toaster
Post by: imroser22 on August 20, 2005, 01:11:49 AM
Hello all...I'm not usually too much into antiques so I was hoping someone could help me out.  I was going through a box of stuff a friend gave to me a while back of things his family was throwing out of their garage and i came across an item that is brass-looking, wood handle, hinged lid, opens like a clam-shell, lions feet, perfect size to fit a piece of bread in...I'm assuming its an antique non-electric toaster/sandwich maker.  Does anyone know if I'm right about this?  I would post a picture but have no way of getting it up right now...if this is an antique toaster/sandwich maker, would it be worth me holding onto (could it be valuble) or would you suggest trashing it?  If anyone has any ideas/suggestion please let me know!  It's driving me crazy not even knowing for sure what it is...lol...thank you!
