I have recently acquired an Anglo Indian Rosewood side table (based on research only). Any information about this item and its value are much appreciated.
It has 6 legs each carved with leaves at the top and dragons (I think) at the bottom. It has a shelf with leaf carving and the top has flowers, leaves and a peacock in the centre.
I know its hand carved and based on internet research only do I think its Anglo Indian. The dimensions are 68Lcm 37W and 64H
Thank you

I do not want to tell anyone that this was good and it would be over.

Any ideas on age? Also, could you post a larger picture? This one is too small.
Also, I don't understand the second post at all.

Welcome to the forum toriab46. Would love to try and help you. We need to have larger and more pictures to help you. From what I could see the table looks very "crude" in workmanship. Hopefully a larger picture and more angles of the table will help.
ghopper1924, we have been getting quite a few of these posters who like to leave little "quips" of wisdom on the site! :O

In the absence of further information, I'd say this is walnut, ca. 1900. As KC noted, not the highest quality workmanship. Also, I would guess that the marble is replacement; the bevel seems like a modern bullnose.
