Title: Wally Herbert Print
Post by: icedgold10 on July 17, 2016, 05:43:44 PM
I got a Wally Herbert inscribed and signed print fo his self-portrait.  In the bottom corner, it says A.P. '6.    Does that mean Artist Proof number 6?  What type value would this have?  You have to look close for the signature because the print also has a white print signature.  Any help would be great.

It looks like signed versions of his self portrait, similar to yours, sell for about $200.

LOL !!  Got my catchers mitt on !!  Artist proofs are usually not written on the work itself but in the border or at least the lower edge and is usually not numbered !!  And I said "usually" !!
