Hi, I'm very new to this but I am looking for information. I have a tea set that my father bought in Germany in a jewelry shop in 1945 during WWII. It is white china with a gold floral (more like a vine) pattern. The tea cups are 22K gold on the inside. The handles and spout of the tea pot, sugar bowl and creamer are 22k gold also. There are 6 cups and saucers. On the bottom of the pieces are the words Hutschenreuther Gelb. There is a circle with a lion and the letters L.H.S inside. Bavaria Germany and the word Weimar under the lion symbol.
It is still a complete set in excellent condition. Thanks for any help.

According to the following site, Weimer refers to a shape. I suggest you go to that site and scroll thru the patterns to find your own.

If you click the blue band on the left, it opens up the thumbnail pics - this is quality porcelain - how fortunate to have such a set - values given on that site are high retail replaaacement - they may, or may not, reflect the actual value you could receive if selling your set. Best wishes, KB
