Just bought at house clearing shop and anybody any idea about the signature ? Can't make not much off it .
-
This is my guess, but it looks like it could be a Western artist taking influence from Asian history. I'd guess from 1860-1940.
Edit: Don't take my word for it though, also no idea about the signature, sorry.

Looking at the paper which doesn't seem to have much age to it and by the ink I would say a lot more modern. I'd say around 80s or even 90s. Doesn't appear to be a drawing more like done in some type of marker. The signature I have no clue

Isn't 77 the date ?
-
Found the name with a other art forum and its : 7okt77Jelle what's on the drawing . So must be by Jelle and now I need to find him .
-
Maybe the 7okt77 is the date? 7 Oktober '77 in German?
Found a Jelle van den Berg, from the Netherlands. http://www.gallery9.com.au/jelle-van-den-berg-artist
Maybe it is him? Date would be correct. Didn't see any signatures, though.

Thanks and will go on a search off his early works . Seen some drawings that could be similar techniques by him . So on the search now ;D

Thanks KC and ghopper1924!
I think he was in college in 1977. Maybe see if you can find an email address or other contact info from his last job in Sydney, or maybe try contacting the Wesnall Gallery? They just had an exhibition of his work there in Jan. 2016.

Tried to find this gallery on the net but no finding . Any link to it somewhere ?
