Plaster crafts were big in the 60`s !! You could buy the molds for $.98 and pour and paint your own !! I think thats what these are !!
-
It seems reasonable enough for a karma point!

I believe if you search "Bosson Chalkware Heads" (made in England) you will see one of your heads! They made all kinds of these in England. Some heads bring a higher price than others!
Not saying yours are original (can't tell from your pictures) but it seems they are like others. Do believe your s have been repainted by owners.
-
I think all the original Bosson heads had an impressed mark on back !!
-
If these are knockoffs, it's hard to believe that anyone would copy something that's only worth about $10.00 or so to begin with. So: copies=$0.00. Genuine=maybe $10.00 more or less.

LOL, god almighty! that is 2 hard to believe stories already today and it's just 9.48 a.m. EST!

Not knockoffs !! Back in the 60`s these and other things were hobby crafts !! I did birds and horses but there were molds for many things !! Even those plaster wall plaques that show up here on occasion !! Gold spray paint was a big seller back then !! Then a little stain on top and a light rub and instant antique !! Or at least antique look !!

Not knockoffs !!
Yep, although i have no clue about these objects, I am goin with the old woman on this one! :)

Ah, since these don't have impressed marks, I figured you meant that they must be knockoffs.
-
No,, they were never meant to deceive !! Just meant to keep the housewife happy making something to decorate her home with !! Remember not everyone could sew or crochet !! Thats when there were housewives and homemakers !!
-
What are these "housewives" and "homemakers" of which you speak? The words roll strangely off my tongue.... ;)

It's a MYTH! like unicorns! We made a BIG mistake in the 18th century when we let women get off their stools and sit in chairs for the first time in history! Been goin downhill ever since! BAM!
-
Yes, we need to teach women to sit on their own stools!
-
LOL !! Oh,, the hole just keeps getting deeper for you two !!
-
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!
96 years ago today, the 19th Amendment was passed, giving women the right to vote.
-
I gave everyone who chimed in an applaud point. thank you.
-
Thank you valhoum. Hope we helped out some!
No comment on some of the remarks...and I bet Martha is moving swiftly around her home! :) LOL
I do appreciate the right to vote - So this year I am voting for Pat Paulson again! :) The best choice!
-
Hey THANKS! valhom. I wasn't any help on your object but i think Mart pretty much nailed what it was.
-
Thanks as well,, !!
Couldn`t think of a catty retort to Jacon4`s revelation that we are now allowed to vote without getting political,,so figured I would keep my mouth shut !! But don`t get used to it !! :D
-
Thanks to YOU, Valhom. And a point to you for your generosity!
-

It's a miracle? BAM!
