Hi, my name is Coury, and I am new to the forum. Thanks for having me. So, I found these two little interesting iron pieces in a junk store, but I have no idea what they are. Have any of you seen these before? Thanks in advance for your expertise.

Hi and welcome to the group !! About what size is it ??
-
Hi, and thanks. It's about 16"W x 12"H x 11"D

Here's the other one. Also similar in size.

Mmm,, Well,, both of them are hand forged,,made in a blacksmith shop !! Thought the first pic was a hanger for a planter pot just looking at how it was made !! But that little square protrusion gets me,, and both of them have the same thing !! On the second one,,does it look like the curved section top back,,the little hooks,,does it look like they have been removed from the second one ?? What I am trying to figure is if they were made similarly !!

Ho, they don't look like they've been altered as far as I can tell. I'll post another picture straight on.

Oh, now I see what you mean. The top part of the higher one do look like they may have been snipped at some point.
