Title: Henry barker of Nottingham dresser
Post by: Abelatter1 on October 22, 2016, 07:52:25 AM
Hi .Can anyone help or offer advice.
I have a late Henry barker of Nottingham dressing table with brass drop leaf handles.
I have managed to break one of the handles and was wondering if I could get it repaired or replaced .
Regards .

with brass drop leaf handles

Abel, iffen they are made of "brass", .......  brass can be soldered ...... and iffn you take that "pull" to a machine shop or to a professional "welder", either one might repair it for you.

Another option is a jeweler !!  Where exactly did it break ??  If the drop itself broke then do as Cogar said,,a machine shop or a really good welder !!  If the smaller pieces that connect the face plate with the drop,,go to a jeweler !!
