Title: "Big Japan" plates
Post by: porcelainNewbie on November 27, 2016, 06:20:01 AM: I have some plates marked "Big Japan". I haven't found this term on the web. Does anyone know anything about these?

Welcome to the forum !!
Scroll down about a third of the way for info on Dai Nippon,,Great Japan !! It is a generic mark used on items intended for export !! Used mostly between the wars,, 30`s and 40`s but there are earlier examples as well !!

Amen. The old lawn mower is still getting a weekly workout, only now it's leaves, not grass.
