Title: Benin Bronze? or not?

Hello to everyone!
Could I have anyone's opinion on this what I believe is a Benin bronze dish. What amuses me is I originally thought it was an ashtray from the 1960's! Its extremely heavy to hold considering its size. 14.5cm diameter. It has an interesting frieze of people and horses perhaps telling a tale? I've researched to find similar and the only connection with the idea of it being Benin is an extact  dish that was in  an auction  in scotland, so I have my doubts.

Can you post a pic of the one you saw at auction ??  I have just looked through pages and pages of Benin Art and metal works and this piece is not at all like Benin art !! Neither is the shape !!  I did find that all the items being sold today are 20th century reproductions !!  A close picture of the back would also help !!
