Hi I have another pot. It's very heavy. Appears to be copper and brass. I can't find any markings on bottom unless they are covered with the black. I was told it's Persian.. Not sure Pitch out or keep? Anybody know anything about this or have seen another one similar?

They are rarely ever marked !!  You can see similarities !!  Persian is as good a guess  as any,, could have been made anywhere in the middle east !! It is a coffee pot !!

PS,,Don`t pitch it out !!
