Title: Chinese brass side table
Post by: SLA on January 09, 2017, 11:26:26 AM
Hi to everyone here,
I`m new to this forum.

I have question about my side table.
Just wonder if someone could estimate approx. age of it and value.

Apologies if I made some errors, as English isn't my first language.

Thank you,
Slaw.

Your English seems good to me! :) Your first name doesn't happen to be Cole, does it? ;)

I'd say your table is vintage, probably mid-20th century. It follows the trend of brass-plated Chinese calendars and such that could be found in gift stores back then.  I'd say value would be around $200 or so. at least in the U.S. midwest.

Okay, just got that one!  LOLOL   Ya'll are too funny today!

Totally agree with ghopper1924 on approximate timeline.  You would see lots of these in the 60's, 70's imported to USA.
