Title: Vintage Asian Porcelain Blue/White Under Glazed Lotus Pattern Container
Post by: DANTE5 on January 30, 2017, 11:39:15 AM
I am hoping that Mat could assist in the direction in reading the script of the mark.  I have not found any similar pictures anywhere.  I can't determine if I am looking at the mark in the proper order? ie, is it upside down?  Please help.  Thanks

Very odd that the foot that should show some age and dirt from sitting around for years doesn`t but the mark either didn`t get a solid stamp or is more worn than the jar !!
Try sending Mat a PM !!  I would say a fairly modern repro !!

Looks modern.  The tea caddy doesn't look to have a tight fitting lid.

Hi, the mark is indeed upside down, but I am not familiar with it. However I agree with the others that this is a fairly modern item.

Doesn`t look like the mark got a good solid stamp !!  Its kind of in bits and pieces !!  Thats why it looks more worn than the jar !!
