Is depression glass usually pressed glass?
I have several pieces of depression glass, and some have a seam while others don't.
Not that I can see, anyway.
I'm not if I should be searching for depression glass or pressed glass!
Maybe if I searched for depressing pressed glass.
LOL!!

How it is made is totally up to the mfr !! One or the other is not definitive as to what type of glass it is !! Much pressed glass was made during the same years that depression glass (as we know it) was made !! Its just a method of manufacture !! Some pressed glass was blown in mold,, some was poured in two (or more) piece molds !! Some mfrs ground the seams and some did not !! Technically speaking the depression glass we know and collect is pressed glass !! But they needed a way to separate the types so the term pressed glass was born !!

Mine has a small chip on the rim.
It feels to be about 3 pounds maybe.
and it has a seam right down the center of the handle.
I really need to get a marathon photo shoot going.
OH!!
I have a small blue Boopie glass dish or ashtray or something.
I love the name.
Boopie glass!!
