Originally published in 1854,11 years prior to the edition year I have here. I would like to know how much this could be worth? The book itself measures approx. 7" x 4.5" when closed. If you need additional info or pics from the book, let me know. Thank you! :)
L'Allumeur de réverbères, translated to "The Street Lighter" or "The Lamplighter".
Additional info, from Wikipedia, translated from French to English:
The Lamplighter ( The Lamplighter ) is a novel written by Maria Susanna Cummins , published in the United States in 1854 . It was at that time a great bookshop success. In France, it appeared the same year.
Maria S. Cummins' first novel, L'Allumeur de réverbères is an immediate success: 20,000 copies are sold in twenty days, 65,000 in five months. At the time, it was the second best-selling novel after Harriet Beecher Stowe 's Uncle Tom 's Case , released two years earlier. One hundred thousand copies are sold in Great Britain and the novel is translated into several languages. In France, it has been regularly reprinted until the 1960s.

The 1854 editions I'm seeing seem to go for around $15-$50, depending on condition. I didn't see your particular edition, but later editions are typically worth less. Let's say $20.00 for yours.
