Title: Noritake help, please
Post by: Raven31557 on March 07, 2017, 02:53:41 PM
I have looked at 100's of Noritake patterns, but I can't find this one.
I don't know if it's a retired pattern or still being produced.
Can somebody put a name on this, please?
and look Mart!!
I even did bottoms up!!
 ;D

Yes you did and I am proud of you !!  But,, your cup does not have a pattern number !!  Not all pieces were marked with the number !! Do you have any other pieces ??  The Noritake Collectors groups do keep a database but they made so much of this stuff that tracking down one without the 4 digit pattern code is difficult !!  Many pieces had no pattern name !!
You could try putting pics on replacements.com and let them try to find it !!  I will look for it but do  not hold your breath  !!

Raven31557, I inherited at least 40 cup/saucers that are all different from my in-laws.  I have kept the ones we really like, gave some to kids and used the rest for gifts, flower arrangements, candles, topiaries, pincushions, miniature fairy gardens, etc...

It was, and still is, a very fun thing for people to collect mismatched cup/saucer sets.  The average cup/saucer sell for $18 to $28 in in my neck of the woods for "beautiful" pieces.  Of course, the finer the china maker they can go higher!
