I'm sorry this isn't a very good picture.
I'm minus my photographer and put this on my scanner.
This plate is 8" square.
Does anybody recognize the pattern or can give me a hint of which decade it might be from?
I'm thinking 60's.

Hi Raven,
My feeling is it is not vintage. It has the look of a computer generated 3 dimensional image. Could be because it is scanned. What type of flower is it? The leaves are very stylistic if it is a rose.

I am not a flower person !! Have no idea what that is !!

Hard to tell....my first thought was a daffodil.
Is the plate about 8.5" wide? (Looks like a luncheon plate)

See where the leaves on your plate are behind the flower ?? Iris are grown from rhizomes and the leaves grow from the rhizome upward !! Iris have tall slender leaves from the ground up,,your plate has wide flat leaves that are behind the flower !!

Maybe it's a peony.
or maybe it's just the artist's fantasy.
What price would you put on it?
$10.00?
-
At an estate sale price at $20. then give them a good deal at $15. and take the $10. they offer !!

SOLD! To the lady in the sun hat.
My brother, who doesn't know a rose from a dandelion, out of the blue this morning said,
"It looks like an iris."
LOL!!
