Has anyone seen new or fake Van Briggle items lately !! t I can not find the ashtray above and the name is wrong !! Van Briggle was never signed,as far as I know, with a U shaped V in Van Briggle !! They did produce items until fairly recently but can`t find much info !! Any ideas ?? Scroll down to see the upright ashtray !! She thinks its a baseball glove but I am not sure that is what was intended !!

The ashtray looks to be a piece of high glazed Dryden Pottery, made while they were connected with Van Briggle. I would say it dates to the late 1960's, after they dropped the Anna name. There is some confusion about the Dryden / Van Briggle pieces, but apparently they were made at the Colo. Springs plant, using Dryden clay and glazes.

It is not a baseball glove. Seen this same shape with a variety of colors in many ashtrays of the era.
