Title: Chinese Bird Chariot ?? Help !!

Sopposed to be Chinese but has a Japan painted stamp !!  Is it actually old or just made to look that way !!  Is it older than mid century !!  I find it odd there are no markings in Chinese or Japanese !!  Makes me think its a tourist item !!  Ideas ??

I would doubt if threaded type "Ready Rod" was around when the piece was supposedly produced. ???

LOL  !!  I was so focused on the chariot itself,,I didn`t even think about that !!  I saw it but that fact didn`t register !!  Thanks Rauville !!  So my date is about right,, 1940 or after !!

Yes, I agree with Rauville, this is a relatively recent piece, either a copy of something old or even a fantasy item. I see no reason why it should not have been made in Japan.
