Title: Here is a stumper to perk everyone up !!

Anyone have a clue what this is used for ??  Doors move freely around the dowel rods !!  Seems like I have seen something similar posted here,, or am I dreaming ??  But what ??

It looks quite new ....... so maybe it is an un-finished "game box" ...... whereas the "numbers", "pictures" or whatever have not been applied to the "revolving" doors, ::) ::) ::) ::)

Its odd that the two (2) dowel pins at the top right corner protrude thru the top shelf board.  :-\

Thats as good a guess as any Cogar !!  I have no clue !! It evidently was meant to be carried by the top handle !!  I thought maybe it was home-made but getting those little doors drilled straight for the metal dowel would be  a pain in the posterior !!  Have to use a jig of some sort and a drill press !!

I put a comment on the site.

If I am seeing correctly the backside is solid.  So IT COULD be used to put in small items (yarn, etc) for storage/display and carrying/easy transport.

Whether it's for small bottles/boxes/etc. it would be fast in/out for the items.

I also tried considering that it could be a modern day spin on some kind of game, abacus.  But doesn't make sense to have a back on an abacus.  Now if it was traced back to being some type of gambling game - antique/vintage gambling games are still hot items.

My latest guess is, ……. it is a new and/or unique design for a Spool Cabinet ……. that is either un-finished or was determined that it wouldn’t work as expected …… so the project was cancelled.  ;D ;D

It looks quite large in the photo.  I have seen this style of substantial fame and wood in schools or libraries.
