Post by: valhom on August 15, 2017, 02:16:28 PM
Posting for a friend. Would like to know more about this ring. It's stamped 925 inside of ring. Would like to know maker based on the design? Etc... thank you!

The mark indicates the silver content.  The US government did not require the marking until 1906, although some manufacturers introduced it at earlier dates. They also used the word sterling.

Ditto what Pelady said about the markings.

I would recommend you take it to a jeweler to get an up close examination and accurately identify the stones.
