Title: Pewter Cups
Post by: valmont325 on September 06, 2017, 12:27:59 PM
I recently came across a set of 4 Pewter cups/Shots I am looking for information. Any history of the maker,  when were they made? I tried finding the hallmark online but could not be found. Maybe someone here can help.  Thanks

I can't really see mark or make out any of the lettering. Is it a little shed or an Oriental Han Character?  What are the letters?

That is a much better picture but haven' t found any more info.

Edelzinn means "noble tin" in Luxembourg!  It means "superior quality" in Germany!  It means "noble and precious pewter" in other countries!

The Touch Mark is an A over an H (It looks as if the A is a roof and H is the structure) that is over Hans that is over Edelzinn.  So far I am unable to identify the maker.  Will keep looking.  Can you please post a picture of the whole cup and measurements?
