Title: Antique Pottery Human Like Form Intial "WF"

I have this old pottery, look like it might be in human form.There's an initial look like,"WF" but not sure.Any body know who the maker is or what it is.

Hey susiecat!  Glad you have come to the forum with your interesting collection of treasures!

Dimensions on piece?  Does it look as if it ever had a lid (wear marks)?

Just a helpful suggestion:  When photographing some small to med size pieces if you put a common item next to it for proportion helps people get a grasp of the piece a bit better if you don't readily have the measurements.  (example:  a soda can next to a larger piece, a coin or dollar bill next to a piece laying flat on a surface, etc.)

This makes me think of a chicken rather than a person.

It doesn't look like there was a top,maybe a stopper I'm not sure ,maybe a chicken head stopper.I was hoping someone has come across one like it.
