Old antique rug I got out of a storage auction.There's a number sown on rug.Can anybody tell me what kind of rug this is,is it handmade and how old.

The rug could possibly be from Abadi Iraq.

I bought out a storage and found several rugs this one has a number 204243 and a name I can't make all the letters out Abad,beautiful rug can anyone tell me what the name or letters and number mean,how old is rug,is it Persian,oriental,hand made,please see my other rugs need information on each please

Number is probably just the style number,, Try Abadeh, Iran !!  No pics of other rugs are posted  !!

Thats correct but the tag is "place of origin" import tag !!  I don`t know if its also a brand or company name !! Didn`t get that far !!
