Title: Antique/Vintage Wood Box For Antique Spoons,Salemen Sample?

I got this box years ago,I can't find anything about it.I've had it on other sites and got nothing.Hope someone can help me.

Something about the box says 1970’s.

In the early to mid 1900's dessert sets were sold in nice casings. This could likely be one of those.

Yep !!  Its a silverware case !!  Not very old !!

I don't think it's 1970's maybe I should have taken pictures of dovetails,picture don't do justice.I have some very old silverware the larger spoon fit.But thanks

Desert sets were often different size depending on who made them !!  Many of the cases were dovetailed,, machine dovetailed !!  That is not uncommon on some small boxes !!
