I don't know nothing about artist,I googled but found nothing.Tried art sites still nothing.Anybody know this artist or any of his work I can look at.
-
Still looking for this painting.I've googled name and found one little book page with name.Nothing else.

The Hiroyoshi Shimada I’m finding results for was more abstract. Nothing like this.
However, it’s possible he painted this popular style for money. Always a good seller on the banks of the Seine

Is the painting signed on the front? If so, can you take a pic please?

Thanks Ipcress! I'm still looking

SophieMarie it's not signed on the front that I can see

What is in bottom right corner? Can you take a better pic?(http://)

Ok, so here is where I am going with this one. The first time I saw this post, I focused on the name written on the back of the canvas. And, like Ipcress, I came up with abstract art.
But, when I blew up the bottom right side of your painting, I thought (just thought) there was a signature so I concentrated on that only.
I'm thinking that your artist is actually Saburo Shimada; not Hiroyshi Shimada. And if I only saw this once, I would have said, "that's weird". But when I saw it twice, I said "hmmm".
Here's the first listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/282774398893?vectorid=229466&item=282774398893&rmvSB=true
Look familiar? (http://)
And, the second listing which explains the gallery confused Saburo with Hiroyshi:

So please take a second look at the signature....

Excellent SophieMarie !! I didn`t read farther down on my link to see that !! Never thought about two with the same last name working in Paris !! Said Hiroshi Shimada was born in 1948 so may have been about the same time period !! I couldn`t see the signature on front even with the site enlargement !!
