Title: Antique Rare WE Garrett & Sons Sweet Mild Snuff Advertising Tray

I have searched for 5 years and haven't found any information on this tray.I think it might have been a store ad but not sure.Need help.

If so would not be the only one made !!  I can not find where these were ever made by WE Garret & Sons !!

I can't find it either,garrette snuff book and an unopened can of snuff came with tray

I think this is 70`s or 80`s !!  Not a repro because from what I can find they never made a tray !!  During that time period they were making repro`s of many old trays like the Coke trays !!  I have seen other items that had a name on them but were not originally made by the companies !!

I lived in Ark when I was a little girl,I dipped snuff that's what it was called,dipping snuff.There were ads on trays,papers,books.But I can't find out when they were made I do remember in the country store there were trays with snuff on it,they had bitter and sweet snuff,I used the bitter snuff lolol.Sorry I have to disagree with you all that.

I did not say none were made,, just that from my research WE Garrett did not make them !!  There is no record that I can find !!  I can not find any of these,, anywhere !!

1950's I was around 9 or 10,there was a country store I believe the name of the store was Sudan in Marrianna Ark.I'm sure it had been there before I was born,it was old at that time.

Why not just email the company and  ask !!  It is not WE Garrett anymore but most companies will have a history/historian familiar with all the promo`s !!

Wow !!  That story makes it worth keeping that tray,,even if it is not one of Garrett`s !!  I would print the story and frame it with the tray !!  Even if it is sold it would bring more than the tray alone !!

That Garret story about hundreds of people claiming to be a heir to the estate ….. reminded me of the settling of the Howard Hughes estate.

If there is a “will”, there is a relative. If there is no “will”, there can be hundreds of relatives.  ;D ;D ;D
