antique tintype photographs of 4 men.This set came out of a storage auction.Anybody recognize these men.

It would be difficult to determine who these men are without some history or background.  I have a box of some interesting ones.  The tintype first appeared in 1855, then peaked from 1861-1871, and then waned from 1872-1900.  The chocolate or brown plates were introduced in 1870.  This is a site I used to determine dates of my tintypes from clothing, hats, hair, etc:

I think the shorter more narrow lapel style would have been close to 1900 to 1910 !!  Bowler ( Derby) hats were popular both in the UK and American west !!
