I bought out a lot of older jewelry and found 2 cuff bracelets. One is cuff bracelet with a large black stone, the strange thing about this metal is when tapped give a ring to it.I know nothing about bracelet. The second bracelet look like copper but doesn't feel like copper, the front is gold color and has a place I assumed for someone name to be engraved.Any information

The black stone is probably onyx !! It was widely used in the 50`s and 60`s for rings and other jewelry !!

Thanks Mart! what type of metal will ring when tapped. The one with the stone makes a loud ring when I tapped it with my finger nail

Looks like brass to me but the ring can be because the metal is not solid all the way around and it will vibrate more than the solid circle !! Remember brass is frequently used for small bells !! It is a much harder metal than copper and softer metals do not usually ring but have a dull thump !!
