Could you please get a better picture of the mark with initials and the design on the handle?
Many times the "angel" mark was a quality mark used in Europe. Countries had different variations.
What you want to search for is Pewter Touchmarks whereas on Silver it is Silver Hallmarks.
I can help with what it isn't so far. It isn't a funeral spoon (had engraving of birth/death information on a person) and it doesn't appear so far to be an anointing spoon. Christening spoons typically had information engraved on them much like the funeral spoon. It isn't a wedding spoon (Which had the couple at the top of the handle.)
Chances are this is a soup spoon or table spoon (roughly 6 3/4" long) but need a bit more information.
Note the backside of the spoon where the handle attaches to the spoon it doesn't smoothly go into a point. Yours is very roughly done (unusual) but very popular during that time the style was called a "rat-tail" and "raised center" spoon.
It was common with old "leaded" pewter that "ownership" marks were put on them (thus the initials of the owner. "A B C D" could mean there were 4 owners such as a family of 4!)

Does it appear that anything broke off the end of the handle?
Reason I am asking is that Wedding spoons and spoons that often had figurines on the end had the larger almost platform-type end that yours has! Such as these German wedding spoons:

I don't know if the pewter firm of "C. Kurz" from Tiel Holland ever used the initials of CK or not? They were in business from 1896 to 1984.
