Title: Rockefeller Art Auction at Christie's - "The Sale of the Season", May 8th-10th
Post by: SophieMarie on April 22, 2018, 07:54:40 PM
So, what's on your shopping list from this event???

On May 8, 9 and 10, Christie’s auction house will hold what they are calling “the most anticipated art world event of the spring season,” a three-day auction of the collection of Peggy and David Rockefeller. Including original works from Pablo Picasso, Paul Gauguin, Claude Monet, Georgia O’Keefe, Diego Rivera and more, the auction, benefiting 15 philanthropic organizations supported  by the Rockefeller family, is expected to bring in over $500 million.

Quote
is expected to bring in over $500 million.

And that probably doesn't include "buyer's premium".

Just a little bit out of my "garage" and "estate" sales pricing as well!

Thanks for sharing!  Always love looking at what is out there!
