Need the dimensions!

Don't know as it is big enough to be a "Pass Cup"  Just search Pass Cup 3 handle and you will see many.

Now at one point they made 3 handle pass ash trays as well (which is what I thought this was).

OOPS, ...... I see KC beat me to it ........ but will post anyway.

Need a better description than just “3 or 4 inches tall”.

Is that a lid or just a reflection?

Is it like a “shot” glass or does the hole go all the way thru?

Anyway, ….. a wild guess, ……. it’s a “sniffer” or “tester”. 😊 😊

Put a liquid in it …… and then pass it “left” or “right” to sniff or taste ….. to get everyone’s opinion.

I’ll refine my “guess” if we find out more about it.

They did make snuffer dishes like this for Smoking/Cigar clubs back in the early 1900's.  The 3 handles were for easy passing and gripping (many snuffers then and today were handle-less.)

I'm pretty sure this is one!

In fact they used to make them look like small candle holders.  After smoking clubs and smoking was declared bad for your health, and they started to decline in popularity -  items such as this and others were being donated to organizations for resale - people would mistake them for a glass candle holder in 2nd hand stores - but the hole was wider than candles and people wouldn't understand why the candles would wobble and not fit - so they would wrap aluminum foil around the base to make them fit!
