Title: I have a bowl since my great-grandfather's time
Post by: messi3710 on April 06, 2019, 07:46:02 PM
This bowl I have heard that it was from my great-grandfather's time. What do people think about it?

Nice bowl. I don’t recall seeing any like that.

A “pressed” ceramic bowl with a raised (relief) pattern on the inside with a mini-scalloped ?? rim.

Pattern and Carnival glass bowls, plates, etc. pretty much all have a raised (relief) pattern on the inside, …. whereas ceramic bowls are normally plain, painted or stenciled.

But for all I know at present, the bowl in question might be a “brown glass “pressed” bowl”.
