The piece pictured (from auction ad.) is coming up for sale. Measures 84" wide by 110" high. What era would you say it's from?
(Disregard the last photo. My mistake.)

Maybe a backbar, or perhaps just a "different" buffet, or a combination thereof.
Looks European.
Era would be 1880s. Too bad about the finish.
Nice piece!

Yup, I was thinking late 1800’s cause of the 1” drawer fronts and the “blind’ dovetails.
A beveled mirror, 2 pieces of glass, a nice stain and a lacquer finish and it would be a beauty. ;D

Looked at this this morning !! Its been dip stripped and power washed !! Thats a shame !! I agree with the late 1800`s time period but could be slightly later from those pulls !! You can still see a faint shadowing around the pulls !!
Are you thinking about bidding Rauville ?? Would sure take a lot of work !!

Is this all original?
If the pulls didn't look like this I would say an older piece.
The bottom door just doesn't match the style of the rest of the piece - when there doesn't seem to be any more detail like it on the piece.

These pics do not enlatge enough to see what we need to !! I am looking at the inside of the top !! What are those drop down pieces ?? Almost looks like a lighting system !!
