Red glass in a rusty steel cage

Are they threaded inside ?? Looks to be a lamp part !! Size ??
-
I agree Mart. Looks like it would be part of a lamp!
-
Seems like I remember something about a similar item on top of a plain white lampshade with the finial on top of that !!
-
The diameter of the top hole in the cage is approximately 11/16” or just shy of ¾ inch.
-
Have no idea how you figure stuff like that and I know better than to ask !! That ain`t my strong point !!

Have no idea how you figure stuff like that
The 1st picture has a ruler lying in front of it.
So, click the pic to enlarge it, then click to magnify it.
Then place mouse cursor on left side of hole in glass ……. and while holding your mouse steady ….. scroll the cursor down to the ruler and record measurement.
Repeat for right side of hole.
Then subtract left measurement from right measurement. 8) 8)

As I said before,, that ain`t my strong point !! :)

Similar to maybe a part from a Murano (or Mexican) caged glass type pendant fixture?

Nice Rauville!
Could definitely be for a lamp like this and even a pole lamp!
-
Yes 3/4 would fit the bill and threaded at one time before rust took over.
Would have guessed lamp as well but for there being 8 of them. Couldn't quite picture it!
And now will go to Hospice Shop whenever the world opens again.
TY!

Well,, since the world is in slow motion right now,,consider putting them on ebay !! There is always a market for lamp and chandelier parts !! Could have been part of two matching 4 arm chandeliers !! They are certainly very old !!

Ditto what Mart said!
