Title: Way-Rite Kitchen Scale
Post by: AFVet1982 on September 02, 2020, 02:26:33 PM
Pictures of my mother's old scale.  I remember this from when I was a kid, so it's probably at least 60 years old.  I haven't looked for any manufacturer's info (model number, date of manufacture, etc.), but if I find it I'll take some pics and add them to this post.

Any info on potential value and restorability is much appreciated.  Thanks!

Philip

Nice piece of nostalgia and family memories!

The value for these is all over the board.  If you look at Ebay - they sell from $12 to $50.  If you look at Etsy they start asking at $40 up to $100 (don't know as they are selling).

Way Rite Scales were made  in early 1900's (most likely 1930's to 1940's) by the Hanson Scale Company of Chicago (established 1888).
