Even if we are not as active as we should be,,he will be greatly missed !!

Oh no!
He was cranky and opinionated, and I'll sure miss him!
A definite fixture here at Antique-Shop.

"He was cranky and opinionated"
Yes he was, he took it personally and was very upset about the Keno brothers issues I posted on a while back.
Still, he was 80, long life, hopefully well-lived. This forum will miss him.

Indeed, this forum can't afford to lose members & Cogar was a workhorse on these boards.

Did anyone converse with Cogar in messages/PM? was he ill? Obit didn't mention what he died from.
-
Oh my....
He did like to challenge if he thought it needed it. Made us stretch our brains!
He has been missed and will be missed alot!
Noticed it didn't mention cause of death either.
I had sent a PM but never heard back.

A knowledgeable voice that will be missed here for sure. As time goes on for all of us I often think of a short poem by Robert Service.
Just Think!
Just think! some night the stars will gleam
Upon a cold, grey stone,
And trace a name with silver beam,
And lo! ’twill be your own.
That night is speeding on to greet
Your epitaphic rhyme.
Your life is but a little beat
Within the heart of Time.
A little gain, a little pain,
A laugh, lest you may moan;
A little blame, a little fame,
A star-gleam on a stone.
