How is the weather in your area ?? We had 80`s last week and 20`s this week ! Can`t outguess the weather ! Never know what to wear !
-
Pretty much the same several hundred miles northeast of you. 80 last week. Today we've got snow flurries and maybe 2 inches of accumulation tonight.
On the positive side, I've got a New Orleans mahogany center table ca. 1850 coming, hopefully today. I've already got a space for it.....can't wait to see it "in person."
Any new goodies on your part?

ghopper1924 can't wait to see a pic of your center table.
Do you know the history of a Center Table? That it was originally called a "Rent Table"? Just a little trivia for you to peruse if you didn't know it! :)
3 days ago up to 80. 2 days ago ice pellets pelting the yard/pool. Yesterday and today 78. Tonight going to low 30's with snow and sleet predicted tomorrow. Gotta' love Texas!

Fascinating, KC.
My table was made ca. 1850, evidently a long time after drum tables were for rent. Mine is rococo revival, and still has a note in French on the inside of the frame from 150 years ago. Not sure it's legible, but pretty cool, eh?

Ditto in the Carolinas, 80s last week, cold this weekend. The good news is, cold doesn't hang around long here.

Time changed so spring is on the way ?? I hope !!

LOL, well, spring on the way for sure but there are ALWAYS a few bumps in that road. Has seen it snow here on April 1st which is very odd for a sub-tropical climate but, it has happened! Was getting ready to over-seed my front lawn last week but as it was 28 degrees here this morning I put that on the back burner!
I notice neighbors putting bags or wrapping with plastic their prize shrubs, guesses they were budding and freeze would harm them? Not a plant person so don't know what's up with that, looks weird though!
