Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was left some flatware that has an "H & K" on it. It is Mother of pearl and has a lion, an anchor and a small b on it. I have searched everytwhere but can't find out who produced this stuff. I found an H and K but they mainly produce pottery. Any ideas. I really would appreciate any input that you can give.
Thanks

I think your marks are British - go here:
http://www.925-1000.com/british_marks.html (http://www.925-1000.com/british_marks.html)
and I think it's a Birmingham company - if the other marks are like this, then follow the link for the Birmingham letters to indicate date - the lower case "b" has several forms inicating date -
I couldn't find a silversmith company with initials H & K. You may need to go to the library and find a book on British hallmarks. Best wishes, KB
