Title: Help me plz with this painter *pics*

Well i just picked up this portrait of a little boy and his dog and when i was buying it, someone offered me $100 for it,i refused, now im curious of who this painter is and of his work.So if anyone could help me with this please do, ill really appreciate it. heres the pics:

Is there a signature?
Could you put up a bigger picture
