Title: 1935 or 1938 Bacardi Rum bottle - Cuba
Post by: Oscarlover on December 25, 2005, 05:04:28 PM
Hello All!!  I know nothing about antiques, especially bottles so any help would be greatly appreciated.  My grandfather has a large, unopened bottle (maybe 2 liters - don't really know) of Bacardi Rum from Havana Cuba.  My great aunt picked it up there in either 1935 or 1938; pre-Castro.  The seal on it is intact and there is a wicker covering around the bottle that is in mint condition.  I'd like to know if this could be worth anything and how I would go about getting it appraised.  Thanks for any info!!
