Hi,
My grandmother passed away a few years ago, leaving me quite a bit of furniture. It was very appreciated, but is now a bit of a problem since I am moving. There is one piece that I am considering trying to get rid of, and it is a dressing table/vanity from the Luce Furniture Company.
I did a little reading, and I see that that company used that name in the early 1900's. My grandma put few coats of paint on it.
It is in reasonably ok condition. I am just wondering what sort of value, if any, I could expect for it.
I appreciate any help!

single mirror or triplex. I would be asking $150.00 dollars. removeing the paint will cost you more.

Thanks!
It is a triplex.
Do you mean I should not remove the paint?

re: paint
generally it's best to not paint or refnish antique furniture. But there's antique - and then there's older more or less "vintage" antique. Some folks like the shabby chic look for their own decorating purposes - and since it's already been painted the new buyer can repaint - refinish - or use "as is". These vanities are desirable. KB
