I recently purchased a matching buffet (sideboard) and hutch set. They have labels from the Statesville Furniture Co. The label also refers to the "Dependable Line". Both are a dark colored wood in appearance, with dove tailed drawers. Hutch has glass front door. Any ideas on the approx. date of MFG., and does the "Statesville Furniture Co." still exist?

I saw your request for info on Statesville Furniture. I don't have any info at this time but I AM SEARCHING.
I have a china cabinet that belonged to my grandmother that I believe was bought sometime in the 1920s. The label (which is tacked on) reads "The Statesville Furniture Company".
I've just started trying to track something on this. When I get some info, I'll pass it on to you.
Would appreciate you doing the same for me.
Thanks - Good luck to both of us!
