Title: Floral Pitcher and Wash Basin
Post by: SouthernRoyal on January 23, 2006, 06:55:54 PM
I found a floral wash basin and pitcher.  The flowers look like Dogwoods.  The pitcher is 6" tall, the bowl is 9'' wide and 1 1/2" tall.  The bottom of both pieces has the number 1186, nothing else.  There is gold flaking on the edges of the pitcher and bowl.

Anyone have any clues?  I am really curious!

This apears to be a transferware decorative item from possibly China, or other SE Asia.

It's value would be $8 - $10 in a shop.

It may well date from the late 1980's.                KB
