Title: winston churchill plate

i have a white plate w/ gold trim with a picture of winston churchill on it. it also has 1965 under him and another year-of the ww2 war. it says western germany on its back. is it worth anything or can i throw it out? thanks,su

It's a commemorative plate - I recently researched for another site on a Churchill commemorative - there aren't many items out there - he was beloved by the British and very respected during his time world-wide.  

Value may also depend on what specific company made the plate - it's not enough $$ to retire on - but it could bring $25 or more -  

You can google for it yourself - best hits come from --  British commemoratives - - perhaps you'll find your plate - I was looking for a pitcher -  KB
